RESERVOIR REFURBISHMENT

We focus on the repair of concrete reservoirs, stopping leaks or potential leaks and increasing the lifespan of the tanks.

  • Reservoirs typically have construction joints built in at initial construction stages. These can be damaged due to abrasion, movement or failed joints.
  • They are built using steel reinforcing, which is subject to corrosion and ongoing Spalling.
  • The external areas of the tank may be subject to internal leaks, increasing the degradation of the substrata.

SOLUTIONS

  • Internal joint sealing of construction joints with advanced bandage systems
  • Cementitious coating system, to repair smaller cracks and prolong the life of the reservoir
  • Lining of the internal areas of the tank with epoxy, rubber lining, resins or cementitious coatings
  • Coatings to the external areas of the tank with various industrial coatings
  • Breaking out Spalled areas and repairing as per supplier instructions
  • Injection of bigger cracks if they are isolated
